DAY 1: Split, Brač Island, 12 NM
Split, Croatia's vibrant coastal gem, is a city where ancient history meets modern charm. Home to the stunning Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site, Split blends Roman-era architecture with bustling markets, lively cafes, and breathtaking views of the Adriatic. Its lively waterfront promenade, Riva, is perfect for a relaxing stroll or soaking up the local vibe.
As the gateway to nearby islands, Split is the perfect starting point for exploring the beauty of Croatia's coastline. With a yacht charter in Split, you can set sail on a tailor-made adventure, discovering secluded beaches, charming fishing villages, and crystal-clear waters, all while enjoying the freedom of the open sea.
Check in at the marina and get ready to set off toward your first destination, the village Milna on the island of Brač. It is a small village dating back to the 16th century on the western side of the island, and it’s a beautiful location for spending your first night on the boat.
DAY 2: Brač - Hvar Island, 10 NM
Having spent your morning enjoying Brač, sail toward Hvar Island in the afternoon. Hvar is the only Croatian island to be listed among the top ten islands in the world, and it enchants with its sunny days so much so that it’s locally known as ‘Sunny Hvar.’ Explore the vistas full of olive groves and lavender fields across the island and the old Venetian palaces in the city of Hvar.
Spend the night on the island, and if you feel up for it, join the perpetually vivid Hvar nightlife.
DAY 3: Hvar - Biševo - Vis 20 NM - 10 NM
Spend the morning on your way to the islands of Biševo and Vis, best known for their many inlets and caves. The Blue Cave, most famous of them all, is accessible only by boat, and it’s a uniquely beautiful experience.
The sunbeams penetrate the underwater passage, and the sea bottom illuminates the cave with the most beautiful shade of blue. Continue to the Stiniva Cove, which you might recognise as the hideout of Studio Ghibli’s beloved character Porco Rosso. It’s a unique cove only accessible via a narrow opening, and when you pass through, you will see a wide pebbled beach with cliffs all around.
At the end of the day, you may choose between spending the night in the town of Vis
or sailing on towards Komiža.
DAY 4: Vis-Korčula 30 NM
In the morning, set out towards the birthplace of Marco Polo, Korčula. Enjoy the rich history and untouched natural beauty of the island.
Its history goes back to Illyric, Greek, and Roman times, as well as the Venetian Republic, and the ancient Greek name for the island is “Korkyra melaina’, translated as ‘Black Corfu.’
The town of the same name is not especially large, but it will enchant you with countless details of art and architecture at every turn. You may also choose to spend the day cycling around the island and enjoying many of the fine wines and meals available in local restaurants.
DAY 5: Korčula - Pelješac - Mljet 3 NM - 12 NM
Sail on toward Mljet and the national park located on the western side of the island.
The central parts of the park feature The Great Lake (Veliko Jezero) with the Isle of St. Mary, The Small Lake (Malo Jezero), and the villages Govedari, Polače, and Pomena.
Spend your day exploring the natural beauties of Mljet and spend the night at Polače Bay.
DAY 6: Mljet - Elaphite Archipelago, 17 NM
The Elaphite archipelago is in the vicinity of Dubrovnik, and it consists of 13 islands, islets, and rocks. In the past, they were the home of captains and sailors of the Dubrovnik Republic and the city of Dubrovnik.
For those interested in sightseeing, we suggest Koločep for the Pre-romanesque sacral architecture
as well as Lopud with its many shops, restaurants, and cafes, and the vineyards, olive groves, and sandy beaches.
DAY 7: Elaphite Archipelago—Dubrovnik, 8 NM
Disembark in the morning in Dubrovnik Marina and spend the day exploring Dubrovnik, a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring an imposing fortified old town.
Walk down Stradun, the city’s main pedestrian street, and enjoy the Baroque architecture visible all over the Old Town. Take your time to truly enjoy Dubrovnik, as the city filled with so much history and stories is worth exploring as much as possible.
