Meyer Yachts is a shipyard in Germany that has been building ships, including cruise ships, for seven generations. Their most recent project? A mega yacht called ONE 50. 'A home on the oceans of the world's is what the yacht builder calls it. This mega yacht is powered entirely by fuel cells and batteries.
ONE 50: bigger than big
Extravagant ships, built practically without limits. The mega yacht is no less than 150 meters long and 20 meters wide. On board there is room for 44 guests who can enjoy all the luxuries, such as a cinema, a billiard room, one of the two spas, an art gallery, or an infinity pool at the stern. The ship has a volume of no less than 15,000 gross tons.
Sustainability from Germany
The ONE 50 yacht, currently under construction in Papenburg, Germany, is designed with sustainability in mind, featuring fuel cells, battery banks, and an impressive 25,000-kilowatt electric propulsion system that enables a top speed of 23 knots.
