In a milestone moment for Italian luxury shipbuilding, The Italian Sea Group has launched the inaugural megayacht created in partnership with fashion icon Giorgio Armani. The official ceremony took place at the company’s Marina di Carrara shipyard, bringing together the owner’s representatives, members of the Armani team, regional dignitaries, and the skilled professionals behind the project.
This vessel marks the debut of two custom-built yachts entirely conceptualized by Armani, showcasing his signature design language throughout both the striking exterior and elegantly appointed interiors.
Developed alongside The Italian Sea Group’s Centro Stile design office, the yacht embodies a seamless blend of modern design sophistication and top-tier maritime craftsmanship. Its visual impact is defined by a refined interplay of streamlined shapes and technological precision, setting a new benchmark in bespoke luxury yachting.
Armani’s Signature Elegance Meets Functional Design
The yacht’s silhouette exhibits Armani’s distinct architectural approach, where sculptural volumes and flowing forms intersect. Polished metal accents and satin-finished details reflect light with elegance, while expansive floor-to-ceiling glass invites natural light and panoramic views into the interior spaces.
The upper decks are laid out like cascading terraces, offering a sense of openness and adaptability. From a relaxed outdoor lounge area to a functional helipad, each zone is purposefully designed to balance comfort with visual appeal.
Inside, the décor crafted by Armani/Casa captures the essence of Armani’s timeless aesthetic. A curated mix of premium materials—such as Black Marquinia marble, Calacatta gold stone, and Canaletto walnut—are paired with custom lighting, mirrored elements, and finely woven textiles. The result is a serene, luxurious environment with an understated yet distinct personality.
“This yacht represents the fusion of Giorgio Armani’s refined vision and our engineering expertise,” said Giovanni Costantino, Founder and CEO of The Italian Sea Group. “It is the product of an inspired creative process that has brought an extraordinary concept to life on the water.”
The 72-metre Admiral Armani superyacht will make its global debut at the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show, one of the most prestigious gatherings in the superyacht world.
