Oceanco has revealed its latest creation — the 111-meter Y726 — marking a significant achievement in the shipyard’s portfolio. The yacht was commissioned in 2022 by a long-time Oceanco client with a clear vision for a bespoke, family-oriented vessel. This project represents a highly collaborative journey involving renowned designers, skilled engineers, and a closely involved owner’s team.
Built with a beam of 16 meters and a gross tonnage of 4,550 GT, Y726 ranks among the most voluminous yachts ever launched by Oceanco. Her bold and sophisticated silhouette was shaped by Espen Øino International, while the interiors offer a serene and luxurious ambiance designed by Mark Berryman Design. The yacht's naval architecture comes from the combined efforts of Lateral Naval Architects, Oceanco’s internal specialists, and Dan Jackson, the owner's trusted yachting advisor.
Currently entering sea trials, Y726 is on track for delivery later this year. The project highlights the strength of unified collaboration — a sentiment echoed by key players involved in her build.
“Y726 reflects the dedication of everyone involved. From the initial vision to the technical execution, this has been a remarkable example of shared ambition,” stated A.J. Anderson, CEO of Wright Maritime Group.
Lateral’s Programme Director, Lee Archer, emphasized the innovation behind the build: “This yacht demonstrates how pioneering design and precise engineering can come together when partners work in harmony.”
Edske Smit, Project Director at Oceanco, added: “Y726 is more than just a yacht — she’s the result of trust, creative synergy, and unwavering commitment from all contributors. We’re proud to welcome her into the Oceanco family.”
