Forlì, July 24, 2025 – On July 18, a major milestone was reached at the Cattolica shipyard with the launch of the very first Ferretti Yachts 800, a model that brings full circle the brand’s flybridge range renewal, which began in 2018.
This 24.47-meter yacht (80 ft 3 in) with a beam of 5.91 meters (19 ft 5 in) was developed through a close partnership between the Strategic Product Committee—chaired by Piero Ferrari—and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department. A variation with a shorter swim platform has been made available to align with the French 24-meter classification limit.
Designed by architect Filippo Salvetti (exterior) and Ideaeitalia (interior), the Ferretti Yachts 800 represents a refined evolution in both style and function. Its core mission is to elevate onboard living through enhanced comfort, thoughtful spatial planning, and striking visual flow between indoor and outdoor spaces.
Among the standout innovations are expansive glazing that brings the seascape into the interior, well-delineated zones for increased privacy, and the strategic use of open-air surfaces for maximum enjoyment.
The main deck boasts a seven-square-meter beach area, leading into a cockpit where a glass balustrade creates an uninterrupted view to the water. Crew accommodations, including three separate cabins, are accessed independently via the portside passageway.
Inside, the salon is suffused with natural light, courtesy of generous windows. The launch unit features the "Classic" decor mood—rich in earthy tones—paired with a spacious corner sofa, concealed TV unit, and ceilings reaching up to two meters in height.
The dining space flows into a separate galley, which can be discreetly accessed by the crew through a sliding bulkhead. This clever layout ensures service efficiency without intruding on the guest experience. The helm station is also reachable from a separate hallway.
Forward on the exterior, guests will find a sunpad and a C-shaped seating area that’s perfect for relaxation.
Below deck, four cabins—including a full-beam master suite, a forward VIP, and two twin guest rooms—accommodate up to eight guests, each with a private en suite.
Up top, the flybridge spans an impressive 40 square meters, offering an alfresco dining zone to starboard, a bar with optional stools to port, and a versatile aft section complete with freestanding loungers and soft furnishings. The helm station features ergonomic seating and commanding views for smooth cruising.
Powering the yacht is a pair of 1800 hp MAN V12 engines, delivering a top speed of 31 knots and a cruising speed of 27 knots—perfectly balancing performance with luxury.
