The Classic 36 is the latest jewel in Atlante Yachts’ explorer range, a 36.2-metre masterpiece that draws inspiration from decades of Italian navetta-style gentleman’s yachts. Built in steel and aluminium, she is part of a series that reimagines this storied tradition for today’s discerning yacht charter clients—combining timeless elegance with modern performance.
Following the success of Cabana, the first Classic 35 launched by Turkish yard Mengi Yay, the Classic 36 extends the concept by two metres, unlocking new possibilities on board. The elongated aft deck now hosts a stylish lounge with an infinity pool, while the sundeck offers a Jacuzzi for elevated relaxation. Fold-down bulwarks expand the open space, and a retractable ladder allows easy access to the sea.
True to the Classic range’s DNA, she delivers substantial interior volumes, superb sea-keeping, low fuel consumption, vast storage capacity and a remarkable cruising range of over 4,000 nautical miles. Twin 850 hp Volvo Penta engines (IMO Tier III compliant) provide a cruising speed of 11 knots and a top speed of 14 knots, supported by a 40,000-litre fuel reserve. Her beam spans 8.3 metres, with a 2.4-metre draught.
Inside, the Classic 36 offers complete customisation for layout, performance and equipment. Interiors can be styled to the owner’s taste, blending contemporary elegance with premium Italian craftsmanship. The five-cabin arrangement accommodates 10 guests, including a full-beam master suite on the main deck and four guest cabins below, plus quarters for a crew of seven.
With an interior volume of 338 GT—comparable to yachts several metres longer—she features a spacious open-plan main saloon, a generous skylounge, and multiple outdoor lounges, from the upper deck’s alfresco dining area to the newly designed aft deck.
Whether anchored off Portofino in the summer or exploring the dramatic fjords of Norway, the Classic 36 is designed to be as liveable as she is capable. Constructed from the finest materials and shaped with graceful lines that will never fade from style, she is built to be treasured for generations — a true maritime heirloom.
The first Classic 36 will be available for delivery in 2027, with Atlante also revealing details of the larger Classic 42 explorer.
