Beneteau has introduced the latest jewel in its express cruiser collection with the reveal of the Gran Turismo 50, a model that now takes the helm as the flagship of the Gran Turismo line. The launch follows on the heels of the Gran Turismo 35 and 40, unveiled earlier this year, and signals a bold new era for the French builder as it enters its 141st year.
Carrying forward the family DNA but with an entirely fresh perspective, the Gran Turismo 50 blends cutting-edge naval architecture with contemporary design, offering owners a yacht that is both versatile and exhilarating to helm. Spacious outdoor zones, flexible living arrangements, and seamless transitions between cruising and at-anchor enjoyment define this new model’s appeal.

Beneteau’s leadership describes the project as a labour of passion shaped by decades of experience and feedback from thousands of owners worldwide. The goal: to understand not just what customers want to sail, but why they sail—and to build a yacht that reflects those motivations.

On board, the Gran Turismo 50 introduces a refined interpretation of luxury, balancing Beneteau’s established elegance with design influences rooted in Japanese principles of simplicity and harmony. Naval architect Bill Dixon’s hull design provides impressive performance with efficiency, giving owners the ability to cover long distances quickly and comfortably.
Adding to its allure, a limited Alpine edition has also been created, showcasing a deep navy hull with contrasting black accents, complemented by bespoke interior touches and a custom steering wheel. This special version underscores the partnership between Beneteau and Alpine, bringing a distinctive sport-luxury edge to the range.

The world premiere of the Gran Turismo 50 is set for the Paris Nautic Show in late November, with a subsequent showcase at BOOT Düsseldorf in January—both stages befitting a yacht that represents the future of Beneteau’s express cruising vision.
