Marina Kaštela is gearing up to host the world’s largest yachts, with new berths set to open by Easter 2026.
The western pier will extend roughly 94 metres, while the eastern pier reaches nearly 116 metres. Both structures, built in reinforced concrete on rows of piles, are equipped with submerged wave-dampening panels to ensure stability and comfort. A central connecting platform, also 8 metres wide, links the two piers and provides access for emergency vehicles such as fire trucks, ensuring safety across the berth area.
The development will also include modern infrastructure to support yacht operations. A total of 32 service pedestals will provide multiple high-capacity electrical connections, freshwater supply, and a vacuum system for onboard black-tank waste management. The berths will be fitted with bollards, fenders, and an adaptable mooring system designed to accommodate vessels of varying sizes.
Water depths range from 2.7 metres near the eastern pier to as much as 14 metres along both piers, offering secure docking conditions for a wide spectrum of megayachts. With this new investment, Marina Kaštela strengthens its position as one of the Adriatic’s premier destinations for large yacht traffic, blending modern engineering with world-class nautical services.
