The Custom Line Saetta 128’ is the newest fully tailored creation in the Saetta range, which encompasses all of the brand’s planing models. This dynamic, sports-inspired tri-deck is currently being built, with its launch and delivery scheduled for 2026 at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona.
The yacht brings a fresh exterior identity and a newly interpreted interior design approach, paired with generous volumes that emphasise comfort and meticulous sophistication. Measuring 39.80 metres in length with a beam of 7.69 metres and remaining under 300 GT, the Saetta 128’ reflects the collaborative vision of the Product Strategy Department, led by Piero Ferrari, and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department. Their collective expertise informs every step of the project—from structure and advanced materials to state-of-the-art solutions that enhance performance and safety.
SY Design signs the exterior styling, while the interior concept is crafted by ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel, supported by Custom Line Atelier, the in-house team dedicated to tailoring each vessel to its owner.
Developed to expand the brand’s planing yacht segment, the Saetta 128’ merges aesthetics, versatility, power, and customisation with a layout optimised for onboard comfort. Each deck has been carefully modelled to elevate liveability, ensuring that indoor and outdoor spaces connect fluidly and intuitively.
Its energetic silhouette is emphasised by a sharply angled stern, while the extensive screen-printed windows create an understated elegance and underscore the yacht’s bond with the sea. The layout prioritises flexibility, with interior and exterior environments blending effortlessly.
“The Saetta 128’ represents our commitment to continual evolution—elevating each project while expanding a highly successful range and enhancing its signature strengths. Our mission is to deliver unparalleled levels of comfort, freedom, and personalisation for Custom Line owners. This model unites innovation, craftsmanship, and tailor-made detailing in a tri-deck unlike anything else in high-end yachting,” said Giordano Pellacani, Chief Commercial Officer of Ferretti Group.
The SY Design team describes the project as an opportunity to reinterpret the athletic character of the Saetta line within the architecture of a tri-deck featuring a planing hull—something rare in this size category. Their approach introduces new design cues that will guide future models in the collection.
According to Patricia Viel, the interior concept mirrors the yacht’s exterior dynamism through flowing geometries, suspended furnishings, and refined architectural detailing. Sleek lines, precision craftsmanship, and a contemporary reinterpretation of classic forms define the design language.
Two Interior Design Moodboards
The Saetta 128’ offers two contrasting atmospheres:
Perfect Mood—A rich, opulent palette featuring mocha- and chocolate-toned lacquer, fine walnut and maple parquet, bright white marble, and textured ivory wall coverings. The materials and finishes create an environment of indulgence and sculptural elegance.
Classic Mood—A softer, more balanced approach derived from the richness of the Perfect Mood. It introduces lighter woods such as oak, understated patterns, and harmonious proportions, resulting in warm, contemporary spaces with unmistakable Custom Line refinement.
Main Features
The tri-deck configuration enhances open-air enjoyment and clearly separates guest and crew pathways. Social areas are designed as a continuous experience between indoor and outdoor life.
One of the yacht’s signature innovations is the reimagined upper deck, featuring a sky lounge and an additional enclosed salon of around 20 m² on the same level as the wheelhouse. A 40 m² aft terrace extends from it, partially shaded by the superstructure while maintaining panoramic views. Large sliding doors create a natural transition between lounge and terrace, with windows on three sides that connect sky and sea in an immersive setting. The 25 m² foredeck offers a U-shaped sofa with storage, a sunbed, and an optional wellness zone with a whirlpool.
The 30 m² sundeck serves as a private hideaway with adaptable furnishings and open-air relaxation from sunrise to sunset.
On the main deck, the 40 m² salon integrates the dining area and features floor-to-ceiling windows that emphasise vertical openness and a continuum with the outdoors. Light-toned textures alternate with deeper wood inserts, creating an elegant play of contrast and architectural rhythm.
The port-side pantry leads to the galley, while the starboard lobby provides access to the accommodations, including the 37 m² full-beam owner’s suite, which boasts a central bed, walk-in wardrobe, and dual bathrooms connected by an oversized shared shower.
Below deck are four additional cabins—three VIP and one guest—bringing total guest capacity to 10, along with accommodation for six crew members, including the captain.
The interior philosophy mirrors the exterior architecture through floating elements, gently suspended seating, sculpted wall and ceiling frames, and refined details that evoke lightness and visual fluidity.
Propulsion & Technology
Powered by twin 2,638 hp MTU D13 M96L engines, the Saetta 128’ reaches a maximum speed of 22 knots and cruises comfortably at 19 knots. At an economical 11-knot pace, it offers a range of 1,000 nautical miles (preliminary figures). The planing hull balances performance with efficiency, while comfort is enhanced by interceptors and fin stabilisers, with gyroscopic stabilisers available upon request.
The yacht is also engineered for IMO Tier III certification, thanks to an SCR system that cuts nitrogen oxide emissions by up to 70%, supporting Ferretti Group’s sustainability goals.
The helm station integrates the latest-generation navigation and control systems, ensuring intuitive handling and maximum safety in all conditions.
