Aquila 50 Sail: Expanding Catamaran Charter Options Under Sail
The Aquila 50 Sail represents the brand’s official entry into the sailing catamaran segment, following its initial announcement at the 2025 Annapolis Sailboat Show. Built on Aquila’s established power catamaran expertise and informed by competitive sailing experience within its leadership team, the 50 Sail brings a fresh option to the sailing catamaran charter market.
Constructed using advanced composite techniques, the yacht offers flexible accommodation layouts with four, five, or six private cabins—an ideal configuration for charter operations seeking privacy and comfort for larger groups. A dedicated bow lounge enhances guest experience, while direct flybridge-to-bow access improves flow and usability onboard.
Owners and charter managers can choose between traditional diesel propulsion or the quiet Hybrid Ocean Drive™ system, catering to different cruising styles and sustainability goals.
Aquila 45 Sport: High-Speed Luxury for Day Charter and Performance Cruising
Making its global debut alongside the 50 Sail, the Aquila 45 Sport becomes the largest model in the Aquila Sport range and a compelling option for day charter and performance-focused operators.
Its double-stepped hull design enables top speeds above 50 mph, with efficient cruising in the high 30-mph range. Visually, the boat draws inspiration from modern luxury SUVs, combining bold styling with functional elegance.
The aft cockpit is designed as a social centerpiece, with fold-down terraces creating nearly 19 feet of usable space at the waterline. Convertible seating, sunbed layouts, and easy water access make the 45 Sport ideal for water sports and social cruising. Below deck, a well-appointed cabin with a king-size berth and private head supports overnight charter use, while an optional lithium battery system allows for quiet, off-grid comfort.
Proven Yacht, Coupe, and Molokai Models for Charter Versatility
Beyond the two premieres, Aquila’s Yacht, Coupe, and Molokai ranges further reinforce the brand’s charter credentials.
The Aquila Yacht series focuses on long-range cruising, generous living spaces, and excellent stability—key qualities for luxury catamaran charter. The Coupe range emphasizes versatility and indoor-outdoor living, enhanced by Hydro Glide™ foil technology that improves efficiency and ride comfort. Meanwhile, the Molokai models deliver a rare combination of offshore fishing capability, stability, and onboard comfort, appealing to niche adventure and sport-fishing charter markets.
Aquila’s seven power catamarans will be located at Dock IC 511 A–F in the Miami Beach Yacht Collection, while the new Aquila 50 Sail will be displayed at Dock E, Sailors Cove, IGY Yacht Haven Grande Miami.
