With the debut of the Filippetti F130, the Italian shipyard expands its Flybridge range into a new dimension, blending advanced engineering with the enduring heritage of Italian yacht building.
The F130 stands as the new flagship of Filippetti’s Flybridge series and represents the latest chapter in a design journey shaped by Fulvio De Simoni Yacht Design Studio. That narrative began with the F80, recognisable for its distinctive side glazing; progressed through the F90 with its emphasis on flowing lines and efficiency; and matured with the F100, which combined strong performance with refined detailing.
Measuring 39 metres in length, the F130 signals the shipyard’s deliberate move into the superyacht category. Once again penned by Fulvio De Simoni Yacht Design Studio, the yacht makes full use of its generous 8.54-metre beam to create spacious interiors while preserving a sleek, athletic silhouette. A defining element of the design is the close relationship with the sea. The aft Beach Club features an integrated infinity pool, while the expansive flybridge—covered by a lightweight carbon-fibre hardtop—forms a panoramic outdoor lounge. Inside, large floor-to-ceiling windows flood the interiors with light and maintain a constant visual connection with the surrounding horizon.
The project also reflects a long-standing collaboration between the shipyard and the design studio. According to Filippetti, the F130 embodies the brand’s present vision for yachting: a yacht where technical innovation translates into elegant forms, balancing the dynamic spirit of a performance vessel with the relaxed comfort of a waterfront residence.
Performance and cruising capability remain central to the concept. The F130 is equipped with three MAN V12 2000 engines driving waterjet propulsion, enabling speeds of up to 25 knots. Its 20,000-litre fuel capacity supports extended voyages. On board, the layout accommodates six guest cabins, while a separate crew area with three cabins ensures smooth operations and privacy for owners and guests alike.
