Antonini Navi marked a major milestone at the end of March with the launch of the 34-metre Seamore 34, the first yacht completed at its shipyard in La Spezia.
The fully custom steel superyacht represents an important step for the Italian builder as it enters the competitive sub-500 GT segment, an area traditionally led by established Italian and Northern European yards.
The launch is seen as a defining moment for the brand, which has been steadily building its presence among industry professionals and owners seeking bespoke steel yachts. With a second yacht already close to launch, a third under construction and several new projects being developed alongside internationally recognised studios such as Nauta Design, Fulvio De Simoni Yacht Design and Hot Lab, Antonini Navi is increasingly positioning itself as an emerging name on the global yachting stage.
The launch ceremony was held as a private occasion attended by the owner and family and included the traditional blessing of the yacht, giving the event a symbolic meaning for the entire shipyard team.
A new chapter for Antonini Navi
The Seamore 34 is more than a one-off project, as it is also expected to become the foundation of a semi-custom range for the shipyard. At the same time, it reflects Antonini Navi’s design philosophy: a solid steel and aluminium platform engineered to offer owners a high level of flexibility in both layout and styling.
The yacht’s concept was developed internally by the shipyard, while the interiors were created by Milan-based design studio Hot Lab. One of the project’s defining characteristics is its emphasis on fluidity between interior and exterior areas. On the main deck, more than 150 square metres of living space extend from stern to bow, with large sliding glass doors allowing the arrangement to shift according to the owner’s preferences. The upper deck adds around 160 square metres of outdoor space designed for both socialising and active enjoyment on board.
Inside, the yacht combines contemporary refinement with timeless details. The design features a carefully balanced mix of fine finishes, ribbed textures, antiqued glass and pastel-lacquered panelling, all chosen to soften the light and enhance the feeling of openness. The result is a calm and elegant environment that feels closely connected to the surrounding seascape and suited to a relaxed yet sophisticated onboard lifestyle.
Industrial heritage meets custom yachting
Antonini Navi is part of Gruppo Antonini, the La Spezia-based industrial group founded in 1943. The company brings to yacht building decades of experience in heavy industry, including offshore and onshore structures for the oil and gas sectors. That background has given the shipyard a strong engineering base and industrial know-how, combined with traditional craftsmanship in metalwork and outfitting.
Founder and CEO Simone Antonini described the launch as an especially meaningful achievement for the family and for a vision that has been taking shape for several years. He said the creation of Antonini Navi demonstrates the group’s ability to turn its long-standing expertise in construction into a tangible product for the yachting world.
Co-founder and sales manager Aldo Manna said the Seamore 34 reflects the yard’s full-custom approach, where each project begins from a blank page and is developed around the owner’s expectations. He noted that the yacht was conceived to be dependable, practical and highly adaptable, while also maintaining strong build quality and performance. According to Manna, the project also underlines the capabilities of the yard’s production team, which successfully translated the design into a finished superyacht of high standard.
Set for the 2026 boat show circuit
Following its launch, the Seamore 34 is expected to appear at major 2026 boat shows, where Antonini Navi will introduce the yacht to an international audience as the first model in a range the company intends to expand in the years ahead.
