ACI has long been recognized as a premier destination for filmmakers and photographers, offering high-quality infrastructure and a unique Adriatic backdrop. To maintain a professional and transparent approach for commercial users, ACI has officially released its updated "Filming and Photography Fees" and General Terms for 2026, as detailed in the recent announcements and price lists from the organization. These regulations are designed to balance production needs with the safety, comfort, and operational efficiency of the marinas.
Flexible Basic Packages for Production Needs
According to the new price lists, ACI has introduced two primary basic service packages tailored to the scale of the production.
The Mini (one-off filming) package is priced at €100 and is intended for short projects lasting up to two hours with a crew of up to five people. This package does not include the use of utilities or the erection of structures. For more extensive projects, the Daily (full-day filming) package is available for €200. This covers up to ten hours of filming within standard working hours for a five-person crew, also without the use of additional utilities or site structures.
Comprehensive Additional Fees for Large-Scale Projects
For larger productions that exceed the basic package limits, ACI has outlined a series of additional fees based on crew size and infrastructure requirements:
- Crew Size: Additional daily fees apply for larger teams, ranging from +€100 for 6–15 people to +€300 for crews exceeding 31 members.
- Space and Infrastructure: If a production requires area reservations or the placement of sets and scenery, a fee of €3/m² per day (minimum €30) is charged.
- Utility Usage: A fixed fee of €100 per day is applied for the use of electricity and water.
- Maritime Access: Temporarily restricting access to quays, piers, or pontoons costs €250 per day, while using a berth for a production boat is charged based on the standard berthing price list.
Logistics, Drone Operations, and Special Arrangements
The 2026 guidelines also address modern production requirements and logistics. Drone operations are permitted at a rate of €200 per day, provided the production submits mandatory documentation and insurance.
Logistical costs include €10 per parking space per day and €80 per vehicle for those stationed within operational areas. If a production requires filming outside of the marina reception’s working hours, a 50% surcharge on the total price is applied. Furthermore, reserving a restricted-access area to exclude other activities is priced at €500 per day.
Strict Guidelines for Safety and Professionalism
Beyond the financial requirements, all productions must adhere to the General Terms and Conditions for Filming and Photography at ACI Marinas. This document sets out detailed rules regarding the submission of applications, deposit payments, and insurance obligations.
ACI places a high priority on safety, boaters' comfort, and the uninterrupted operation of its facilities. Productions are expected to conduct their activities in a discreet and professional manner. ACI reserves the right to cancel or terminate filming activities at any time due to operational, safety, or other justified reasons to protect its reputation and the interests of its clients.
