In a recent video review featured on the prominent YouTube channel YachtBuyer, Jack Haines provided an in-depth tour of the Benetti Oasis 34M, specifically focusing on the hull named "Kings Lair." Currently listed on the market with HMY for just under $17 million, this vessel represents one of Benetti's most successful recent models. Since its launch in 2022, the Italian shipyard has delivered 20 units of this 34-meter superyacht, which was heavily inspired by its larger sibling, the Oasis 40M.
The Oasis 34M features a five-cabin layout, a transatlantic range, and a design optimized for open-air living, making it highly popular for both private owners and the charter market.
The Oasis Aft Deck and Seamless Indoor-Outdoor Flow
The defining feature of the Oasis 34M is its "Oasis Aft Deck," a design concept scaled down from the 40-meter model. The focal point of this beach club area is a large, freshwater Jacuzzi pool positioned directly on the waterline, flanked by sunbathing spaces, an outdoor shower, and a parasol for shade.
The aft deck also incorporates a multifunctional "transformer" platform. While the outer sections remain fixed, the central platform can submerge into the water to assist with swimming or tender boarding, deploy a staircase, or raise to dock level. A traditional passerelle is also integrated.
The deck layout is designed for socializing, featuring a seating area, a fire pit for evening use, and an outdoor bar with stools. The transition from the exterior aft deck to the interior salon is entirely seamless, utilizing a completely flush floor and curved glass doors that slide open to connect the spaces.
Main Deck Interior and Owner's Suite
Inside the main deck, the salon features custom-designed sofas that mirror the exterior curves. Moving forward, the internal dining area is surrounded by exceptionally large windows, ensuring guests remain connected to the outdoor scenery.
The adjacent galley is designed to be highly functional for the crew. It includes a pantry area, a coffee station, a dumbwaiter servicing the upper decks, a large refrigerator, and a dedicated workspace for a single chef. The galley also provides direct access to the side deck and stairs leading down to the crew quarters.
Positioned forward on the main deck is the full-beam owner's suite. Upon entering, there is a spacious walk-in wardrobe on the starboard side. The cabin itself is decorated in a bright, beach-club-inspired aesthetic. It features an aft-facing bed, a bulkhead-mounted television, and massive windows that flood the space with natural light. The ensuite bathroom is split, featuring a separate toilet cubicle, a central double sink area with ample storage, and a large shower equipped with overhead windows that act as light wells.
Lower Deck Guest Accommodations
The lower deck houses four guest cabins, accessible via a central staircase on the main deck.
* VIP Cabins: Located midships are two identical double VIP cabins. These cabins are designed with a luxurious feel, featuring double beds, large windows, bedside tables, and integrated storage.
* Twin Cabins: Located forward are two identical twin cabins, which are highly practical for charter use. They offer spacious central walkways and comfortable berths.
All guest cabins are equipped with ensuite bathrooms featuring black-framed shower doors, individual televisions, and iPads that allow guests to control the cabin's audio-visual systems, lighting, and air conditioning.
Bridge Deck and Upper Living Spaces
The bridge deck is designed as a secondary, more intimate living area. It features a cozy upper lounge equipped with a card table, a sofa, a television, a crew station with iPad controls, a dumbwaiter, a refrigerator, and a wine store.
The exterior aft section of the bridge deck utilizes a "platform design," offering a highly flexible space with free-standing furniture that can be rearranged by the owner. This area includes integrated fridges, a workout space, and the capability to set up a projector screen for outdoor movie nights under the stars.
The captain's cabin is also located on this deck, featuring a single berth and a private bathroom, positioned directly adjacent to the wheelhouse for quick access.
The Wheelhouse and Performance
The bridge of the Oasis 34M features a modern design with a low-set dashboard, custom helm seats, and a steering wheel featuring a weighted Benetti "B" logo that remains upright at all times. The helm is equipped with triple screens displaying vessel management, digital switching, and navigation.
The yacht is powered by twin 1,300-horsepower MTU engines, delivering a top speed of approximately 16 knots. It is designed to cruise efficiently at 10 knots, at which it achieves a transatlantic range of 2,700 nautical miles. During a recent transit from the Bahamas to a boat show, the yacht consumed 52 gallons of fuel per hour at cruising speed.
Foredeck and Sundeck Features
The foredeck serves as another highly functional outdoor space. It features hidden wing stations on both sides for docking maneuvers, a carbon-fiber gangplank for side boarding, a dining/seating area, and a large sunpad. Beneath the sunpad lies a hidden storage area; the entire section lifts hydraulically to reveal a compartment large enough to store a jet ski and other deck gear.
The sundeck, reached via a staircase hidden on the side deck, is the primary outdoor dining area on board, as there are no dining tables on the main deck aft or bridge deck aft. It features a large dining table, a dumbwaiter for easy service from the galley, a grill, and a fully equipped bar. The forward section of the sundeck is dedicated to sunbathing, with the option to install an additional hot tub.
Crew Quarters and Technical Spaces
The crew quarters are located on the lower deck forward, accommodating the crew in three cabins with bunk beds and private ensuites. The crew mess includes a seating area, a prep station, a television, and CCTV monitors for vessel monitoring. A laundry station is located opposite the crew cabins.
The engine room is accessed via a large hatch on the aft deck, which also opens to the tender garage. The garage is designed to house a Williams 505 DieselJet tender, which is launched using an overhead crane through a shell door on the side of the hull.
The machinery space houses the twin MTU engines, two generators, two watermakers, and a CMC electric fin stabilization system (zero speed) to keep the yacht stable at anchor. The vessel has a total fuel capacity of 25,000 liters, supporting its long-range cruising capabilities.
