Sunreef Yachts has launched the first Sunreef 100 Eco, a sailing catamaran that combines electric propulsion, solar power technology and sailing performance. The yacht is now moving into its final outfitting phase ahead of sea trials and its world premiere at the Monaco Yacht Show.
The new model is designed for owners looking for comfort, range and energy independence, and marks another step in the company’s sustainable yachting lineup.
Electric propulsion and solar power
The Sunreef 100 Eco is equipped with twin 360kW electric engines, a 770kWh battery bank and Sunreef Yachts’ proprietary solar power system. Solar panels integrated into the hulls, superstructure and bimini generate clean energy while maintaining the yacht’s profile.
The project was commissioned by a returning Sunreef superyacht owner, reflecting interest in technologies that support cruising without compromising luxury, comfort or performance.

Designed for life on board
Built for extended voyages, the Sunreef 100 Eco offers spacious guest accommodations and large indoor and outdoor living areas. It also features a vast Ocean Lounge, a large garage, a dive locker and dedicated storage for toys and watersports equipment.
“With the Sunreef 100 Eco, we are proving that the future of superyachting can be both luxurious and responsible,” said Francis Lapp, Founder and President of Sunreef Yachts. “Combining electric propulsion, solar power, and the efficiency of sailing, this yacht sets a new benchmark for clean cruising.”
With the launch of the first Sunreef 100 Eco, Sunreef Yachts continues to expand its portfolio of sustainable luxury catamarans.
