Azimut|Benetti Group is preparing a new €100 million investment plan for Tuscany between 2026 and 2028, building on €77 million already invested in the region over the past three years. The company said the area remains the operational core of its superyacht division, with 14 industrial sites across Viareggio, Livorno, Massa and Pisa generating 70% of the group’s global results.
The new cycle is intended to increase production capacity, improve safety and strengthen the engineering and technological expertise that defines the brand. Planned measures include expanding sheds, adding new travel lifts and reinforcing production and safety systems.
Other priorities in the plan are energy-efficiency upgrades and the installation of photovoltaic systems, along with the redesign and refurbishment of executive offices and client reception areas. The group also plans continued investment in new yacht models, materials and technologies, as well as the strengthening of Lusben Refit facilities and production capabilities.

Workforce growth and training support the expansion
The increase in production has been matched by growth in the company’s workforce in Tuscany. Between 2020 and 2026, direct employees rose from 442 to 607, while the broader supply chain expanded significantly. The Tuscan sites now record 3,800 daily presences, supported by a network of more than 1,000 companies working with the group.
Benetti also said it continues to invest in skills through recruitment and training programmes. A key role is played by the ISYL Foundation – Italian Super Yacht Life, of which the group is a founding member. Through ISYL, Benetti contributes to training programmes and the transfer of industrial know-how, supporting the professional development of young talents.
Since 2015, more than 600 graduates have started their careers through the model, which the company describes as a school-to-industry integration system that is rare in Italy and particularly advanced in the sector.
