Fountaine Pajot has released the first official images of its new FP48 sailing catamaran, presenting the model as more than a new boat and placing the onboard experience at the center of the launch campaign.
The brand says the FP48 is being introduced through a progressive reveal focused on life at sea, shared moments and the atmosphere created on board, rather than on technical features alone.
A new approach to launching the FP48
With the FP48, Fountaine Pajot says it wanted to go beyond a traditional product launch and tell a different story about cruising. The campaign highlights sunrise passages, quiet anchorages, shared meals and moments of freedom at sea.
The company describes this approach as a more contemporary and immersive way to present a sailing catamaran, with the emphasis placed on emotions and experiences rather than equipment.

Designed as a successor to the Tanna 47
The FP48 is the successor to the Tanna 47 and opens a new chapter in the Fountaine Pajot range. It is aimed at owners looking for freedom and ambitious cruising, combining elegance, innovation and comfort for a more immersive sailing experience.
The layout is built around a seamless flow between living spaces. A three-metre-wide sliding glass door connects the aft cockpit and saloon into one open area linked to the sea. The central galley is positioned as a natural gathering point, while the forward cockpit and Lounge Deck are designed for relaxing and enjoying the view.
The FP48 will be offered in two versions: Maestro, with a full owner’s suite occupying the entire port hull, and Quatuor, for different cruising needs, from family holidays to longer passages.
In line with Fountaine Pajot’s focus on more sustainable cruising, the FP48 includes up to 2,300 W of solar panels and the ODSea+ solution to improve energy autonomy on board.

It will then continue its international tour at the Grand Pavois in La Rochelle from September 22 to 27, the Genoa International Boat Show from October 1 to 6, the Barcelona International Boat Show from October 14 to 18, and the Annapolis Sailboat Show from October 15 to 18.
