D-Marin is rolling out a summer programme of more than 70 cultural, sporting and social events across its marinas in the Mediterranean, as the company reports stronger transient bookings and rising demand from larger yachts.
The programme runs throughout the peak yachting season and includes regattas, outdoor cinema nights, cultural festivals, wellness sessions and community celebrations. D-Marin said the events are intended to give yacht owners, captains, crew and local communities more reasons to connect, relax and enjoy time at its marinas both on and off the water.
The company said the summer activity comes amid a particularly strong season for transient business across its marinas, with bookings already ahead of the same period in 2025.
Growth has been especially notable among larger yachts. Across June and July, bookings for vessels over 50 metres rose by 33 per cent year on year, while bookings for yachts between 30 and 50 metres increased by 10 per cent.
Dean Smith says guests are responding to D-Marin’s premium focus
Dean Smith, Chief Commercial Officer, said D-Marin launched its “Feels like yachting should feel” philosophy last summer with a renewed focus on premium experiences on and off the water.
“Since last summer, we have launched our ‘Feels like yachting should feel’ philosophy with a fresh focus and commitment to delivering premium experiences both on and off the water and ensuring connection, enjoyment and discovery of the D-Marin experience is a priority for our guests.
“The popularity of our summer events programme, alongside the increase we are seeing in bookings, shows how strongly customers are responding to that approach. It reflects the hard work of our D-Marin teams across the Mediterranean to ensure every visit is memorable and reinforces our brand values of refined service, thoughtful detail and innovation.”
