Fountaine Pajot Sailing Catamarans has unveiled the FP51 FLY, a new flybridge version of its 51-foot sailing catamaran, alongside the existing FP51 Lounge Deck. Developed in response to feedback from owners and the brand’s international dealer network, the new model expands the FP51 range with two configurations aimed at different cruising plans, from private ownership to charter use.
While the Lounge Deck version keeps its original concept, the FP51 FLY adds an elevated outdoor living space while retaining the core features that have made the model successful.
A flybridge focused on sailing and relaxation
With the FP51 FLY, Fountaine Pajot has reworked the outdoor layout around a flybridge that combines sailing and leisure.
At the front, a centralized helm station, inspired by the FP55, gathers all sailing controls in a dedicated navigation area. An electric genoa furler comes as standard to make sail handling easier.

At the rear, the flybridge includes an outdoor living area with seating around a table and a relaxation space opposite. The area is designed for time with family and friends and for enjoying the sea from a higher vantage point.
Accessible from both port and starboard, the flybridge is designed for easy movement on board. An optional hardtop is also available for owners who want to customize the space further.
Interior layouts carried over from the Aura 51
The FP51 FLY keeps the interior layout inherited from the Aura 51, a design that has already proven popular with both private owners and charter operators.
It is available in 4-, 5- or 6-cabin configurations, offering several layout options depending on cruising needs.
Both FP51 versions also include several shared updates, among them a built-in 253-liter refrigerator, a new instrument display mount and changes to the saloon layout.
The FP51 FLY is also available with ODSea+ as an option, as part of Fountaine Pajot’s energy solutions range.
World premiere planned for La Rochelle in 2027
The FP51 FLY will make its world premiere at the Fountaine Pajot Open Days 2027 in La Rochelle, France, before appearing at major international boat shows throughout the fall.
With the new version, Fountaine Pajot Sailing Catamarans continues to expand its range, offering sailors more ways to enjoy life at sea while keeping sailing pleasure and onboard quality of life at the center of the experience.
